Museum Children's Party

The always popular Vacaville Museum Guild’s Annual Children’s Party is August 5, 2010, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Museum Courtyard, 213 Buck Ave. This year’s theme is “Summer Magic”, and will feature creative crafts, and games for prizes from Round Table Pizza, McDonald’s, and Burger King. Also included will be the 4-H Club Petting Zoo, and many fun mascots, such as Mother Goose, Miss Jelly Belly, and Mr. Pickle. There will be a special performance by Kelly the Clown, recycling activities by Recology Vacaville Solano, and face painting. The party is sponsored by Vacaville Fire Fighter’s IAAF Local #3501, and they and the Vacaville Police Dept. will be represented by vehicles and personnel, for fun interaction with the children.
Tickets go on sale July 1st, at the Vacaville Museum, Wed-Sun, 1-4:30 p.m. The cost is $5.00 for the first family member, $3.00 for each additional family member, and includes popcorn and a hot dog lunch. The Party is geared toward ages 3-9, with at least 1 adult required per 5 children, and all are encouraged to bring their own bag for carrying the day’s “treasures”.
