Every Wednesday from 3pm to 8pm in the Nut Tree Plaza, local farmers feeding their community. Join us for live music, local produce, and free carousel rides!

The always popular Vacaville Museum Guild’s Annual Children’s Party is August 5, 2010, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Museum Courtyard, 213 Buck Ave. This year’s theme is “Summer Magic”, and will feature creative crafts, and games for prizes from Round Table Pizza, McDonald’s, and Burger King. Also included will be the 4-H Club Petting Zoo, and many fun mascots, such as Mother Goose, Miss Jelly Belly, and Mr. Pickle. There will be a special performance by Kelly the Clown, recycling activities by Recology Vacaville Solano, and face painting. The party is sponsored by Vacaville Fire Fighter’s IAAF Local #3501, and they and the Vacaville Police Dept. will be represented by vehicles and personnel, for fun interaction with the children.
Tickets go on sale July 1st, at the Vacaville Museum, Wed-Sun, 1-4:30 p.m. The cost is $5.00 for the first family member, $3.00 for each additional family member, and includes popcorn and a hot dog lunch. The Party is geared toward ages 3-9, with at least 1 adult required per 5 children, and all are encouraged to bring their own bag for carrying the day’s “treasures”.

Creekwalk Concert Series is pleased to present "Solsa" from 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

It’s our 3rd Annual Chili Challenge!
We invite all locals to enter for this one and have some fun competing against neighbors and friends. The entrants will be judged on chili utilizing any ingredients that you feel will make yours the best. There is also a special category for Fire House Chili (all firefighters are encouraged to enter) and a Restaurants. There is an entry fee of $20 for participating, $25 for non-residents (exce...pt the firehouse & restaurant challenge).

Plus, we'll have live entertainment ALL DAY:

12:00 PM - "Throwing Roses"
2:00 PM - "The Michael Paul Band"
4:00 PM - "48 Straight"
