Docent Weekend at Lake Solano Park

An upcoming Docent-in-Residence Weekend offers visitors the opportunity to learn about Lake Solano Park, the region’s history and ecology around a campfire and during an afternoon canoe tour Feb. 17-19.

“Lake Solano is a gem,” said Reid Bryson, winters resident and park visitor. “It’s a great place to experience the creek and all it has to offer.”

Weekend Schedule:

• Campfire Program, 6:30 p.m. Feb. 17.

• Canoe Tour, 1 p.m. Feb. 18.

• Roving Docents Cart, 11 a.m. Feb. 19.

All of the Docent-in-Residence Weekend programs are free.

Campsite reservations can be made by visiting, or calling the Lake Solano Nature Center at (530) 795-2990.

Parking at Lake Solano Park is only $6 per vehicle, payable at the day use entrance to the Park, across the street from the Nature Center.
