WHAT IS IT?

The Vacaville Healthy Pledge is a voluntary program for Vacaville businesses to commit to clean and healthy standards for their guests and employees to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Adopted by the Vacaville Business Recovery Coalition as a priority initiative, this free program is being led by the team at Visit Vacaville.

WHY SHOULD BUSINESSES PARTICIPATE?

To help build confidence among residents and visitors our Vacaville Business Recovery Coalition is asking local businesses to voluntarily pledge to commit to the health and safety of all guests and patrons. Studies are showing that customer confidence regarding health and safety practices will assist businesses during the economic recovery.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A BUSINESS SIGNS UP?

By taking the pledge businesses will be listed below so visitors and customers can be made aware of participation. Businesses also gain access to important resources and additional marketing tools to help spread the word about their pledge and commitment to public health.

HOW DO I SIGN UP MY BUSINESS?

Simply complete the commitment form found below the pledge on this page. Visit Vacaville will follow up with instructions on how to move forward.

MY BUSINESS PLEDGES TO:

• Abide by all orders and directives issued by governmental and public health officials
• Enhance employee protocols including increased regular education, hand washing, sanitation efforts, and social distancing
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces frequently, per CDC and Local Health Officials
• Require and/or encourage the use of face coverings by staff and customers
• Reduce occupancy in common spaces to ensure compliance with CDC and State social distancing guidelines
• Encourage customer hand sanitizing and hand-washing, as available
