Pickling, Preserving & Jams Cooking Class Preserve the Bounty of Your Garden!! Too much produce and not enough brine? Don't get in a pickle! During class, you will learn pickling, preserving, and jam-making techniques that will make sure you are enjoying the bounty of your garden (or Larry's Produce) well into the chill of winter. Guided by the expert direction of our Chefs, you will create delicious treats that you'll eat here, and some to take home with you! Our IL Fiorello jam session will include: Bloody Mary Pickles Pick a Peck of Pickled Vegetables: Make a Brine & Pickle Your Choice of Veggie to Take Home Preserved Lemons - Two Methods Grain Salad with Preserved Lemons & Olives Pear & Dried Cranberry Chutney: How to Hot Process Jars Fig & Lemon Preserve Heirloom Tomato Jam (Menu subject to change.)
