American Armory Museum
Step Back in Time at the American Armory Museum
Just a short, scenic drive from Vacaville, the American Armory Museum (located at 4144 Abernathy Road at the intersection of Suisun Valley Parkway) offers an immersive, hands-on journey through more than a century of military history. Perfect for families, history buffs, and curious explorers alike, this hidden gem is a must-visit attraction right in Solano County’s backyard.
Unmatched Military History Up Close
Spanning over 60 meticulously restored military vehicles across an expansive outdoor yard and indoor showroom, the museum brings major conflicts—including World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War—vividly to life.
Unlike many traditional museums where artifacts sit behind glass, the American Armory Museum encourages an interactive experience. Visitors have the unique opportunity to view the machinery up close and even climb inside select larger vehicles for unforgettable photos.

A Marrmon-Herrington Tank – One of only three left globally.
Vintage Military Motorcycles – Including a rare 1942 Harley-Davidson XA (one of only 30 survivors out of 1,000 produced) and a 1918 Harley-Davidson.
Heavy Armor & Support Units – Featuring an Israeli M-5 Half-Track Armored Personnel Carrier and a giant Super Mack.
More Than Just Vehicles
