As Solano County’s premiere community concert band, Solano Winds brings the joy of live wind band repertoire to audiences across the region. Composed of over 70 passionate local musicians—ranging from talented high school students and dedicated music educators to active military personnel and retirees—the ensemble embodies the spirit of community art-making.
Regularly featured on stage at the Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre (VPAT), Solano Winds delivers four major, themed concert programs each season, alongside intimate chamber performances by their brass, woodwind, and jazz small ensembles. From stirring classical arrangements and Broadway selections to modern wind literature, their performances offer rich cultural experiences for music lovers, families, and visitors alike.
