Fairfield, CA – IL Fiorello Olive Oil Company is excited to welcome the community to its beloved Tomato Weekend, a tradition celebrating our vibrant tomato harvest with delicious food, refreshing cocktails, engaging activities, and family fun. This year’s festivities take place from Thursday, August 14 to Sunday, August 17, offering guests a flavorful and memorable experience in the heart of Suisun Valley.

Tomato Weekend brings together food lovers, gardeners, and families for four days of culinary creativity and educational experiences. Guests can enjoy elegant meals, interactive classes, farm tours, art, and more. All highlighting the versatile and delicious tomato.

Weekend Highlights:

Thursday, August 14 – Taste of Tomatoes DinnerKick off the weekend with an elegant coursed dinner featuring our farm-fresh tomatoes in creative dishes.

Friday, August 15 – Tomato Mix-It Class & Happy HourJoin us for charcuterie, tomato-inspired cocktails, and a hands-on class where guests learn to craft fresh tomato cocktails.

Saturday, August 16 – Tomato Garden Tour & Salsa ContestTake a guided tour of our organic tomato gardens with IL Fiorello Owner Ann Sievers and Farm Manager Nick Keintz. Learn expert growing tips, trellising techniques, and varietal insights. Plus, enter our Tomato Salsa Contest—with separate categories for adults and children—and show off your culinary skills.

Sunday, August 17 – Tomatoes on CanvasUnleash your creativity at our Draw & Sip art class with artist and Chef Ollie Raines. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon of painting in the pergola, inspired by the colors of the garden.

All Weekend – Tomato Tastings & Special MenuSample dozens of tomato varieties in our tasting experience and vote for your favorite to help create next year’s garden. Enjoy our Chef’s Choice tomato specials alongside IL Fiorello’s regular menu.Other ongoing attractions include olive oil tastings, farm tours, and family-friendly fun.
