SOLANO FARM TO SCHOOL PUBLIC FORUM

Every child in Solano County deserves healthy school meals! Learn about new initiatives in Solano County and how your school district can get involved!

Topics include: successful farm to school models including Vacaville Unified School District), new laws and funding opportunities and the USDA-funded Solano Farm to School Project - designed to help schools with local procurement, expand markets for farmers, and equip students to champion healthy local food.


Participants will also learn how farm to school initiatives fit into Solano County's agricultural future. Discussion/ Q&A will take place at the end.
