Target Audience: Spanish descendants tracing family origins back to the early 1900s migration from Spain to Hawaii, and subsequently to California.

Cost: Free (RSVP required by August 21, 2026)

Vacaville, CA — The Spanish Hawaiian Heritage Association (SHHA) invites community members and especially descendants of Spanish families who migrated from Spain to Hawaii in the early 1900s—and later settled in California—to commemorate 2025 Conference at UC Davis.

The afternoon will feature a special 2025 Conference video presentation by James Fernandez, author and Professor of Romance Languages and Literatures at New York University, exploring the history and migration journeys of Spanish families. Attendees will also enjoy a genealogy presentation, light refreshments, and an open community discussion on the future of the association.
