Vallejo Kite Festival

Vallejo Kite Festival is a FREE, family friendly event sponsored by the City of Vallejo, taking place on Saturday, September 12th, 2026 from 10am to 4pm at the Barbara Kondylis Waterfront Green. This year, come “Take Flight” with us! The Vallejo Kite Festival will feature professional kite flyers provided by the Kite Man of Martinez, with opportunities for families to fly their own kites! Don’t have a kite? No problem at all! The Vallejo Kite Festival has partnered with Old City Kites, who will be selling kites and kite making kits at their booth! In between flights, enjoy our delicious food offerings provided by Taconhambre, CoolRolls Ice Cream, and Mo Bee Sweets! You can also take a ride in our Virtual Reality Hot Air Balloon Experience! See the park and the water from 100+ feet in the air using drones provided by 707Drones! Our professional kite flyers will be present all day, flying large owls, tweedee bird, dragons, and more!! Come on out and enjoy a wonderful day by the Vallejo waterfront at the 2026 Vallejo Kite Festival!
