The Wild West Film Festival is a multi-cultural and educational celebration dedicated to honoring the legends, lifestyle of the legacy of the American Wild West and more since it’s foundation in 2019. Through film, documentaries and exhibits of cultural art, live music, all forms of expression, poetry, keynote speakers, authors, writers, historical reenactments, and immersive displays, we pay tribute to the people, stories, and traditions that shaped the frontier spirit.
Our mission extends beyond traditional narratives. We work closely with historical societies, cultural organizations, and community partners to preserve and promote the rich heritage of all the cultural groups who helped shape the American West. We are dedicated to the development and discovery of all independent artist filmmakers and various artists.
We proudly present “World Voices Beyond the West”—short films and documentaries (under 40 minutes) of all genres. Judging by a Juried Panel of industry professionals. Awards to be given to only one winner of each category. We have built a platform to help creative people and filmmakers achieve their goals and dreams of seeing their film on the big screen. Our goal is to bring audiences the opportunity to impact, explore, ignite their senses and awareness, nurture their souls that inspires their humanity connection thus, fostering future stewardships and collaborations.
We celebrate the spirit of film. Whether set in distant lands or imagined futures, these films reflect the West’s enduring impact on storytelling, independence, and the human journey.
The Wild West Film Festival is where film and history comes to life—and where all voices ride boldly into view. Come and join us for two fun filled days of FREE, non-stop Wild West adventure for the entire family.
