Outdoor Adventures

Vacaville’s outdoor adventures offer bold challenges and memorable views.

Cyclists will find miles of rolling trails tucked in the hills around town, from well-known paths in Lagoon Valley Park and the Alamo Creek Bike Path, to epic climbing workouts at Gates Canyon and Mix Canyon. Load up on gear at Ray’s Cycle on Main Street and set off on a wheeled adventure you’ll remember forever.

Hikers and rock climbers will find unprecedented opportunities to indulge in never-ending views when they summit the Vacaville Boulders or the tower at Lagoon Valley Park. Hikers who reach the top of the 7.5 mile trail that begins just to the left of the Lagoon Valley Park entrance are rewarded with amazing views from the insta-worthy wooden swing at the top!
