About Ashton
Ashton Ross is a contemporary artist and painter, joyfully creating bold and vibrant art inspired by life’s little pleasures. Ashton takes delight in everyday beautiful moments, like finding daisies on a neighborhood walk or watching birds outside her living room window.
Originally from North Carolina, Ashton didn’t study art in college. Her passion for service led her to take a different path, studying French at Elon University, where after graduation she commissioned into the United States Air Force as a Force Support Officer. She served in the military for ten years on Active Duty before deciding to pivot into the Air Force Reserve in order to pursue her art career full time.
Ashton’s work has been featured in the Alexandria Art League Gallery and her “Joy” collection is on display at National Children’s Hospital in Washington DC. Ashton is a proud member of the United States Veteran’s Artist Association (USVAA) and the Vacaville Art League and Gallery.
Ashton currently resides in Northern California with her husband, Thomas, two amazing daughters, and her two mischievous studio cats.
